Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group’s leadership team conducted in-depth research at the West Plant, focusing on innovation-driven high-quality development.

Recently, Liu Yi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group, and Zhou Xiangqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, led a team to conduct on-site research at several production and operation units in the West Plant. This comprehensive research aimed to understand the frontline production and operation situation and provide precise guidance for the company’s high-quality development. Company leaders Liu Shuiku, Wang Linlin, Wang Jianbin, and Wang Bin accompanied the research team.

The research team first visited the Hande Axle Assembly Plant. Entering the bustling production workshop, Liu Yi and Zhou Xiangqiang inquired in detail about the current production capacity load and the precision control of core component assembly. They observed the automated production line’s operation process and affirmed the cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancing results achieved by the workshop’s “lean assembly management system.” At the Jinding Foundry Plant, the research team visited the core processes of smelting, molding, and cleaning, carefully examining casting quality inspection reports and understanding the application effectiveness of green casting technology. They urged on-site personnel to continuously uphold environmental protection standards and promote product quality iteration through process upgrades.

Subsequently, the research team visited the Shaanxi Automobile Commercial Vehicle Body Painting and Final Assembly Workshops. In the painting workshop, Liu Yi showed great interest in the operational efficiency and paint quality stability of the newly deployed intelligent painting robots, emphasizing the need to leverage intelligent manufacturing to continuously improve the standardization and refinement of vehicle body painting. In the final assembly workshop, the research team walked along the vehicle assembly line, inquiring about the production rhythm of key workstations and the support of the supply chain. Given the current market order structure, they requested the workshop to optimize production scheduling to ensure efficient contract fulfillment.

Visiting the Shaanxi Tongli Intelligent Manufacturing Center, the research team was drawn to the digital production management platform within the workshop. Staff demonstrated the operational mode of interconnecting equipment and collecting and analyzing production data in real time through the Industrial Internet. Zhou Xiangqiang inquired in detail about the return on investment in intelligent upgrades and the digital skills training of frontline employees, encouraging the center team to continuously deepen the application of intelligent manufacturing and create a benchmark demonstration scenario for intelligent manufacturing in the industry.

The final stop of the research trip was the Shaanxi Automobile Industrial Heritage Exhibition Hall. From faded old photographs to early parts samples, from handwritten production records to exhibition boards showcasing the company’s development history, the research team paused to observe and listen attentively, deeply appreciating the pioneering and innovative spirit of the older generation of Shaanxi Automobile employees. Liu Yi remarked on-site, “Shaanxi Automobile’s development history is a history of continuous struggle and breakthroughs; this spiritual wealth is the foundation of our confidence for the future.”

At the research symposium, Liu Yi fully affirmed the phased achievements made by various units in areas such as capacity improvement, process optimization, and intelligent transformation. He emphasized that with increasingly fierce competition in the industry, all cadres and employees must strengthen their confidence in development, firmly grasp the two core engines of technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, continuously increase R&D investment, focus on enhancing the core competitiveness of products, and promote the implementation of various tasks with a “nail-driving” spirit to empower the steady improvement of the company’s operational quality and efficiency, laying a solid foundation for Shaanxi Automobile Holding’s sustainable and high-quality development.
