Shacman Group H3000E New Energy: A New Experience in Cement Transportation Along the Atlantic Coast

Along the Atlantic coast of West Africa, SC—a major local cement producer—is quietly undergoing a transportation revolution. SC has long been a loyal user of Shacman Group brands, having previously operated F3000, F2000, and even earlier SHACMAN Aolong series trucks. Thanks to their exceptional quality, these vehicles maintained high operational availability for years.

Departing fully loaded with cement clinker from the cement plant, the trucks traverse regional hub cities over a 70-kilometer route before reaching project sites. This constitutes SC’s primary transport corridor, currently served by a fleet of nearly 100 SHACMAN diesel heavy-duty trucks that largely meet operational demands. However, this landscape is being fundamentally transformed by SHACMAN’s new H3000E new energy solution.

Shacman Group – Range Worry-Free

The H3000E features a 350kWh high-capacity battery paired with adaptive kinetic energy recovery technology, reducing overall energy consumption by 6%. With a full load, the vehicle achieves a range of 190 kilometers. For SC’s daily 70-kilometer one-way trips, no charging is required during round trips. This significantly alleviates SC’s longstanding range anxiety concerns regarding electric vehicles.

Beyond single-charge range, charging duration is another critical factor affecting commercial vehicle operational efficiency. The H3000E offers multiple charging options, including both charging and battery swapping. Its 5-minute rapid battery swap makes recharging as efficient as refueling a diesel truck. Simultaneous dual-charger operation supports a total charging power of 250kW, fully recharging the 350kWh battery in under 1.5 hours. This significantly reduced charging time extends the H3000E’s operational hours, generating greater revenue for SC Company.

Shacman Group – Safety First

To enhance driving safety, the H3000E is equipped with specialized engineering vehicle bumpers that significantly reinforce cab protection, safeguarding occupants. The standard ABS system prevents rollovers during emergency braking, ensuring stable stops.

This dual active and passive protection safeguards not only the H3000E truck as a production tool but also SC Company’s “core asset”—the physical safety of its drivers.

Currently, leveraging the low-cost advantage of electricity, each new energy vehicle saves a substantial $48.3 per 100 kilometers compared to traditional fuel-powered vehicles, delivering significant cost reduction and efficiency gains. This cement transportation innovation has elevated SC Company’s operational development to a new level.
