Peru’s geography presents one of the world’s most challenging operating environments for heavy commercial vehicles. Ranging from sea-level coastal highways to Andean mountain passes exceeding 4,800 meters in altitude, heavy trucks require an optimal balance of raw power, oxygen-starved high-altitude compensation, and structural durability. The SHACMAN X3000 series has been specifically engineered and calibrated to conquer these extreme conditions.

Both the 6×4 and 8×4 variants integrate world-class powertrain components optimized for high-altitude Andean terrains:
Engine Performance: Heavy-duty Cummins (ISM/ISZ Series) and Weichai (WP12/WP13 Series) diesel engines producing 380 HP to 460 HP. They deliver exceptional low-end torque for effortless slope starts under full payload.
Transmission: FAST 12- and 16-speed manual transmissions paired with optional FAST/Voith hydraulic retarders and engine brakes, ensuring safe control on long downhill descents.
Axles & Reduction: Hande MAN heavy-duty double-reduction axles featuring hub-reduction and inter-wheel/inter-axle differential locks to maintain maximum traction on muddy, loose, or uneven terrain.
