The SHACMAN X3S 8×4 Dump Truck is a top-tier heavy-duty vehicle engineered for large-scale bulk material transport in mining, quarrying, and infrastructure projects. As the flagship 8×4 model in SHACMAN’s X3S smart truck series, it integrates a high-torque powertrain, reinforced U-shaped cargo body, and intelligent load management to excel in extreme off-road conditions. Targeting global markets like Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, it delivers a payload capacity of up to 45 tons, paired with fuel efficiency and durability—making it a cornerstone for heavy earthmoving and resource transportation.
The Weichai WP12 engine delivers up to 430 horsepower and 2,000 Nm of torque, paired with a high-torque transmission for smooth acceleration even on steep inclines. It meets Euro 6 emission standards, satisfying the requirements of the EU and other highly regulated markets. Furthermore, the engine’s low-speed, high-torque characteristics reduce fuel consumption by 8% to 10% compared to the previous X3000 model.
The U-shaped cargo box utilizes high-strength carbon fiber, reducing weight by 500 kg while increasing load capacity. Its streamlined design minimizes material residue during unloading, making it ideal for transporting sand, gravel, and carbon fiber. Optional features include a reinforced tailgate and a hydraulic lifting system (30-second unloading cycle) to further enhance operational efficiency.
Adaptability to Extreme Environments:
Off-road Performance: Heavy-duty axles (front: 9 tons, rear: 16 tons x 2) and multi-leaf spring suspension easily handle rough terrain, while large off-road tires (12.00R20) provide strong grip.
Weather Resistance: Sealed electrical systems and corrosion-resistant components are suitable for humid, high-salt environments (e.g., coastal construction sites).
