Shacman X5000 Refrigerated Box Truck

The SHACMAN X5000 8×4 Refrigerated Box Truck is a heavy-duty cold chain transport vehicle built on the proven Delong X5000 platform. It is designed for large-volume, long-haul distribution of temperature-sensitive goods—including fresh produce, frozen meat, seafood, dairy, and pharmaceuticals—where payload capacity, constant temperature control, and operational reliability are critical.

The X5000 reefer is built on a robust 8×4 (four-axle) chassis with a wheelbase of 1,950 + 4,425 + 1,400 mm, providing a stable foundation for heavy cargo loads. The cab is the X5000 extended high-roof sleeper configuration, equipped with a four-point air suspension system, an electronically controlled automatic air conditioner, electric windows, central locking, and heated electric mirrors.

The refrigerated box is equipped with a high-performance refrigeration unit from established brands such as Keda (or equivalent units from Thermo King and Carrier, depending on configuration). The system is capable of maintaining an internal temperature range of −25°C to +5°C, suitable for both deep-frozen and chilled cargo. For high-altitude routes in Central Asia and similar plateau markets, the X5000 refrigerated chassis undergoes low-pressure calibration for the engine and refrigeration compressor, ensuring stable −25°C refrigeration output even in thin-air, high-altitude conditions.

The insulated cargo compartment is a critical component of the X5000’s cold chain performance. The standard box dimensions are 9.4 m × 2.42 m × 2.5 m, yielding a volumetric capacity of approximately 56.8 cubic meters. The box is constructed with high-quality polyurethane thermal insulation materials and advanced sealing technologies, effectively minimizing cold air loss and maintaining precise temperature control throughout the delivery cycle. The rear door is a hinged type, with the box structure designed for durability and thermal efficiency.
